WHAT IS TRUE POWER “FAR INFRARED” KINESIOLOGY TAPE? 

TRUE POWER “Far Infrared” Kinesiology Tape is an elastic kinesiology tape made of a thin, elasticized 97% cotton and 3% spandex with an acrylic adhesive. It is latex free, hypo-allergenic, and it is designed to be worn through any activity, showering, or just resting 24 hours a day for up to 7 days. Then reapply new tape if necessary.

The patch captures your body's own thermal energy and re-emits it as far-infrared in the same band your body naturally radiates — what researchers describe as wavelength resonance — penetrating up to 4 cm through skin tissue to reach muscle, connective tissue and blood vessels. A standard heating pad typically reaches only 0.25–2 cm.

How True Power Uses It

True Power tape is developed with mineral-enhanced Circle and Lightning Bolt infrared zones. When the tape is applied and activated by the body’s heat, these mineral zones emit far-infrared energy where the tape is applied. The tape also captures the bodies heat and converts it back to the body as infrared energy.

Independent researchers tested True Power technology. The result: far-infrared emissivity with peak performance in the 8–12 μm range — the same band in which the human body naturally emits thermal energy.

Every warm object radiates infrared light. At normal skin temperature (~33°C / 91°F), the body emits most of its energy between roughly 8 and 14 μm, peaking around 9–10 μm. Because True Power peaks inside this same band, the infrared it re-emits is tuned to the wavelengths your tissue already absorbs most efficiently — penetrating deeply without producing noticeable surface heat.
